As a full-time remote Authorization Coordinator / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for LTSS/Medicaid in Virginia, the candidate will review clinical information from providers, analyze data for service authorization, and validate member benefits while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. Key responsibilities Review clinical information to ensure sufficient data for service authorization Analyze requests to confirm alignment with clinical protocols for authorization Validate member benefits and insurance enrollment information prior to authorizing services Required qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a Compact/Multi-State License Three years of related clinical experience as an LPN in settings such as physician offices or managed care Experience with authorizations, LTSS, or Medicaid is highly preferred
