Title: Medical Assistant (Primary Care Clinic)

Location: Elk River, MN

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Schedule: Day Shift | No Weekends | No On-Call

Pay: $22.23–$27.37 per hour (based on experience) + Benefits

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care Clinic in Elk River, MN. In this role, you'll work closely with providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient clinic environment.

- Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations.
• Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform clinical duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
• Administer injections, perform specimen collection, and assist with patient care.
• Complete accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Educate patients and provide follow-up instructions.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

- Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP, ABHES, or equivalent).
• Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Passed the X-Ray Operator Examination (required).
