Medical Assistant Position

Hourly Range: $22.23 - $27.37 (based on years of experience) 25% Perm Placement Fee The Medical Assistant will manage the patient flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their patients. Patients come from a variety of backgrounds and various age groups requiring individualized care including infants, children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics. The focus of the Medical Assistant is on collaborative, supportive and delegated tasks as described in the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice. Delegable tasks and competencies are specific to the role of the Supervising Nurse and Supervising Provider and are described by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. The Medical Assistant receives direction and collaborates with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers to meet the defined goals of the customer, shift, department and organization. Communication with the health care team related to progress, concerns, questions or problems that arise are an essential element of the Medical Assistant role. ***Please note this position requires proof of passing an X-Ray Operators's examination*** Requirement description:

Medical Assistant Candidates

Your candidate must meet all of the following requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) - [Required]
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by a recognized accrediting organization (i.e. ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program OR Graduate of a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) program accredited by a national health services organization (i.e. American Medical Technologists) with on the job experience and passing the RMA Certification exam. - [Required][Document]
