Personal Injury Paralegal

Our Chicago-based law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our litigation team. We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience supporting personal injury matters on either the plaintiff or defense side. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative legal team where your experience will be valued, and you'll play an integral role in supporting attorneys through every stage of the litigation process.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation
Draft, prepare, and organize pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents
Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
Maintain case files, litigation calendars, and critical deadlines
Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
Assist with settlement preparation and trial support

Qualifications

3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience (plaintiff or defense)
Strong understanding of the litigation process from case inception through resolution
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience
