Full Time Manual Labor Tualatin, OR, US Salary Range: $25.00 To $31.25 Hourly The Facilities Technician supports the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of ZincFive's facilities and grounds, helping ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This role performs preventive maintenance, facility repairs, and general building services while also assisting with more advanced facilities projects and improvements. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and works onsite at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon. Work in collaboration with other Facilities Technicians and provide support as needed Perform assigned preventive maintenance inspections and repairs Perform custodial tasks, including but not limited to stocking paper products, cleaning restrooms, washing windows, changing light bulbs, and performing general cleaning duties Manage facilities inventory and pick up supplies and materials from local vendors as needed Perform a variety of maintenance duties, including but not limited to basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, plumbing, furniture assembly, and floor repairs Inspect facilities and grounds to identify maintenance and repair needs and help maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment Identify and report hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to Facilities Manager Follow all company safety policies, protocols and procedures Maintains maintenance records, work orders, and logs as needed Assist with facility improvements, office moves, company events, and unforeseen facilities needs Participate in a shared on-call rotation with the Facilities team and occasionally work irregular schedules, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays, as business needs require Other projects and duties as assigned Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1 to 2 years of facilities, maintenance, custodial, construction, or related experience Basic knowledge of and experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, and HVAC maintenance Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions Experience safely operating and using a variety of hand and power tools, equipment, and materials Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and storage of cleaning materials, disinfectants, paints, oils, stains, and custodial equipment Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions Work with external contractors, vendors and internal departments to address maintenance issues effectively Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance maintained throughout employment Dependable, adaptable, and responsive to changing business and operational needs Preferred Qualifications: OSHA safety training and/or certification Advance experience using hand and power tools Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment Attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Customer service mindset and ability to collaborate with others Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work will be performed in various settings, including offices, manufacturing, warehouse and outdoor environments. This role may be exposed to varying noise levels, weather conditions, confined spaces, heights, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and mechanical or electrical hazards. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently climb stairs and ladders Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks Ability to operate various power tools, hand tools and equipment Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
