• Facebook & Instagram Management: Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content that builds awareness, strengthens relationships, and supports agency growth.

• Content Calendar: Plan and maintain a consistent social media posting schedule featuring insurance education, community involvement, team highlights, seasonal topics, and agency promotions.
• Community Engagement: Help grow our online audience by responding appropriately to comments, encouraging interaction, and building relationships with followers.
• Digital Advertising: Assist with Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, creative development, and performance tracking, subject to applicable advertising guidelines.
• Brand Awareness: Identify creative opportunities to showcase our team, celebrate customers appropriately, promote local events, and strengthen our community presence.
• Marketing Performance: Monitor engagement, reach, follower growth, inquiries, and campaign results. Share insights and recommendations for improvement.

My recommendation

I would change the job title from Marketing Liaison to Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist .

The new title better communicates the skills you're looking for and may attract applicants who already have experience with Facebook, Canva, Instagram, Reels, and Meta advertising.

I would also strongly recommend asking applicants to submit 2–3 examples of social media content they've created . This will help you distinguish people who simply enjoy using Facebook from people who can actually market a business.

One other consideration: If this position is primarily content creation and marketing, I wouldn't automatically require an insurance license. I'd make licensing dependent on whether the employee will discuss coverage, quote insurance, or perform other licensed activities. That could expand your applicant pool considerably.
