What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, including lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
• Operate advanced equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Siemens ventilators, and dialysis machines
• Monitor patient status with Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors and GE medical devices
• Float to ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed, managing various patient ratios
• Follow all safety protocols, including COVID-19 isolation care and N95 mask sizing
• Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

What You Need

• Valid ICU nursing license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Epic EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications
• Ability to float to various units
• Strong clinical assessment and bedside skills

• Experience with ICU equipment and critical care procedures
• Flexibility to work weekends and night shifts
