DENTAL HYGIENE INSTRUCTOR Job Description
We're seeking a dental hygiene professional (Full time/ Part time), to join the Dental Hygiene associate degree Program at our Nashville Campus. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares lesson plans using industry-standard approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).
- Teaching courses as assigned, instructs and evaluates students, develops students' skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.
- Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).
- Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.
- Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.
- Minimum of an associate's degree in dental hygiene.
- At least five (5) years of practical work experience in the field.
- Dental hygiene licensure qualifications compliant with the State of Tennessee Board of Dentistry, along with current CPR-Healthcare Provider certification.
