About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supplier Development & Performance Manager to lead supplier performance improvement initiatives across quality, delivery, manufacturing capacity, scalability, and sustainability.
This is a high-impact role requiring a hands-on manufacturing professional who has progressed from the production floor into supplier development leadership. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Capacity Optimization, with a proven record of improving supplier performance and supporting new product launches.

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead supplier performance management across Quality, Delivery, Capacity, Scalability, and Sustainability. 
•    Develop and execute supplier improvement plans to reduce defects (SPPM) and improve on-time delivery. 
•    Conduct supplier capability assessments, audits, and risk evaluations. 
•    Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives using: 
o    Kaizen 
o    Value Stream Mapping (VSM) 
o    Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) 
o    Standard Work 
o    Takt Time Optimization 
o    SMED/Changeover Reduction 
•    Lead supplier problem-solving activities using: 
o    8D Methodology 
o    Root Cause Analysis 
o    Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) 
•    Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities through: 
o    APQP 
o    PPAP 
o    Process Validation 
•    Validate supplier manufacturing capacity and scalability. 
•    Lead supplier recovery and performance improvement initiatives. 
•    Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Quality teams. 
•    Establish supplier KPIs, governance, and continuous performance reviews. 

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 
•    10+ years of experience in: 
o    Supplier Development 
o    Supplier Quality 
o    Manufacturing Engineering 
o    Plant Quality 
o    Supply Chain 
•    Strong expertise in: 
o    Lean Manufacturing 
o    Six Sigma 
o    APQP 
o    PPAP 
o    Capacity Planning 
o    Manufacturing Processes 
•    Proven experience improving supplier performance and leading supplier recovery programs. 
•    Strong project and program management experience. 
•    Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
•    Ability to work independently within global cross-functional teams. 
•    Willingness to travel 50%+, including international travel to Canada. 

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) 
•    Greenfield Manufacturing experience 
•    Outsourcing and Supplier Transition experience 
•    Experience coaching and developing supplier capabilities 
•    Experience supporting global supplier networks
