Production planner

We are seeking a high-caliber Production Planner to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle of sophisticated military electronic assemblies. You will be responsible for translating complex program requirements into actionable shop floor schedules while ensuring strict adherence to AS9100 standards and Department of Defense (DoD) delivery milestones. Required Qualifications Experience: 3-7 years of production planning experience specifically within Military, Defense, or Aerospace electronics manufacturing. Standards Proficiency: Working knowledge of AS9100D, ISO 9001, and J-STD-001 (soldering standards) is highly preferred. Systems Expert: Advanced proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and Macro-enabled reporting). salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Strategic Scheduling: Master-schedule production for complex PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) and box-build electronics using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Deltek Costpoint). Constraint Management: Perform "Clear-to-Build" (CTB) analysis to identify material shortages, labor constraints, or tooling gaps before they impact the production line. Compliance Oversight: Ensure every work order is launched with 100% accurate documentation, including ITAR/EAR controls, serialized traceability, and special processing requirements. Cross-Functional Command: Serve as the central hub between Engineering, Procurement, and Quality to prioritize "critical path" assemblies for major defense contracts.
