Project Scheduler

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, implement, and maintain project scheduling management systems to support project plans and objectives.
• Set up and maintain project tasks and subtasks to ensure contract requirements are completed according to schedule.
• Maintain project timelines and the Primavera P6 database, including task status and updates.
• Enter new project information into P6 and generate scheduled reports for contract coordination and management reporting.
• Coordinate with project staff, stakeholders, contractors, and other project team members to schedule work and assignments.
• Work with project teams and contractors to define scope, develop/update schedules, and identify variances from the baseline plan.
• Evaluate schedule progress and performance to identify developing issues and potential problem areas.
• Analyze critical path, constraints, and schedule impacts resulting from project changes.
• Recommend alternative work paths and recovery strategies to mitigate schedule delays.
• Develop and update weekly schedules in coordination with superintendents, field engineers, and project managers.
• Support the project management team with change management processes, procedures, and systems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining periodic project status reports to keep management informed of project progress.
• Conduct schedule analysis to determine alternative courses of action and recovery plans for delayed or slipping schedules.

• Ability to receive, develop, and communicate accurate schedule information.
• Ability to actively participate in project and department meetings and discussions.
• Proficiency working within a Primavera P6 environment, including
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Project Scheduler needs at least a High School Education but candidates with Associate's Degree's, Bachelor's degree's or Master's Degree's will be factored into the selection.

The role will be primarily remote, with the expectation that the selected candidate may occasionally be required to attend on-site meetings as needed. On-site attendance is anticipated to be limited to only a small number of days per year.
