Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; Day and Night shifts available

Highlights:

• 44-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in neuro and trauma patient populations
• Patient ratios of 4:1 at grid capacity, 5:1 when stretched
• Full range of PCU equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, and patient lifts
• EMR system: Cerner
• Comprehensive case mix including neuro and spinal assessments, chest tube management, blood transfusions, and feeding tube placement
• May float to other stepdown or medical-surgical units as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
• Neuro and trauma care experience (required)
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Navy blue scrubs required
