Pallet PackerWe are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Pallet Packer to join our team in Sandusky, OH.Hours: 6:00am-2:30/3:30pm Monday-Saturday. Saturday’s ARE mandatory.Pay: $13/hr. + incentive during Peak SeasonResponsibilities:Scan label on orders with RF scanner to start packing/shipping processVerify correct pallet amounts and order numbersVerify shipping address if multiple orders for one customerCreate shipping labels for productScan product to correct shipping labels and verify quantities to be shippedPack smaller products into shipping boxes and apply correct labelsRemove any extra product or retrieve any missing product for orders before shippingStack boxes for shipping onto pallets in line with shipping requirementsMove pallets to staging area to get wrapped and loaded onto trucksQualifications:Experience using a handheld/ RF scannerPrior packing or warehouse experience preferredExperience using a pallet jackBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to accurately read measurements and use a tape measureAble to work in a fast-paced environment, keep up with other departments to not hinder production and shipping requirementsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in recording dataAbility to lift and move products as required, up to 100 lbs.Ability to stand continuously, bending, twisting, and/or squatting may be requiredFlexible to work overtime with little to no noticeExcellent organizational and communication skills
