Physical Therapist - Full Time

Physical Therapist

We're looking for a Physical Therapist to take on a full-time role with one of our area clients. You will help patients move better, feel better, and stay active—whether they are recovering from an injury or managing long-term conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California physical therapy license required to start the position.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience or comfort working in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Experience with manual therapy and patient education preferred.
• Experience with or willingness to use adjunctive modalities such as shockwave therapy preferred.

Clinic Overview

• Outpatient physical therapy practice with multiple nearby locations, including a Stanford-area clinic.
• Recently changed staffing model and have been utilizing travelers to meet staffing needs.
• Operate seven clinic locations and compete with several large hospital systems in the region.
• Strong emphasis on manual therapy and patient education.
• Recent investment in shockwave therapy technology.

Schedule

• No weekends required.
• Most clinicians work 5x8 schedules.
• 4x10 schedules available for the right candidate.

Patient Caseload

• Primarily 45-minute treatment sessions, with some 30-minute appointments.
• Stanford location uses 30-minute treatment sessions and 1-hour evaluations. Only student clients are seen at the Stanford location.
• 1:1 patient care model. Therapy aides are available to assist clinicians.
• PTA caseloads are similar to PT caseloads. Typically one PTA per site.

Compensation and Incentives

• Physical Therapist (PT): Compensation increases based on experience.
• Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): Compensation based on experience.
• Sign-on bonus available.
• Retention bonus after one year.
• Loan repayment assistance available.
• Variable compensation model recently launched. Annual performance reviews impact compensation.
