Northern Air Systems is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team and help drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and provide technical support throughout the sales process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional who understands HVAC systems and applications and enjoys working closely with customers, Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and accounts.
• Support new business development and Inside Sales initiatives.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, schematics, RFQs, and project requirements.
• Assist with HVAC equipment selection, applications, proposals, and quotations.
• Coordinate technical information between Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Support change orders, project schedules, and customer communications.
• Participate in customer visits, design reviews, and technical meetings.
• Maintain CRM activity, sales opportunities, and customer information.
• Work with Marketing on technical content, product information, and sales materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and the customer experience.
• Stay current with HVAC technology, products, codes, and industry trends.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, engineering, technical sales, project management, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and RFQs.
• Strong communication, customer relationship, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, engineers, sales professionals, and manufacturing teams.
• HVAC manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
