Hospitalist needed for hospital system in Beaufort, SC . May accept new graduates have successfully completed a post-graduate residency program.'.. support not-for-profit hospital on the banks of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, is licensed for 201 beds (169 acute, 14 rehabilitation and 18 mental health). Acute-care hospital, a regional referral center and the largest medical facility between Savannah, Ga., and Charleston, S.C. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, boasts a dedicated, high-quality medical staff of nearly 230 board-certified or board-eligible providers.

• Join a team of board-certified Hospital Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Shift lengths: 12-hour shifts 7a-7p, 7p-7a
• Average patients load is 18-20
• Diverse case mix
• 24/7 in-house support from Anesthesia, Pediatric Hospitalists and Hospitalists
• Manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and complex medical cases.
• Trama surgery available on-call
• Access to a wide range of on-call specialties: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery and Vascular Surgery
• Intensivist coverage in-house from 7A-7P; Hospitalists cover ICU overnight with intensivist on call
• The ED will respond to hospital airways or codes.
• Must be familiar with a wide range of ailments, diseases, disorders and injuries. Develops treatment plans individualized to the patient's needs. Implements treatment plans, writes orders for medications, treatments, tests, and provides patient care. Perform minor procedures for which they can exhibit competencies.
• Certifications/Licenses:
• Must have successfully completed a post-graduate residency program
• Must have a valid, current and unrestricted SC medical license.
• Must have current state and federal controlled substance licenses...'
