Maintenance Technician

Description


In this role, you will support an advanced manufacturing operation by developing programs and parameters for production processes, including fabrication and machining systems, tooling design, assembly, and rebuild activities. You will also perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

You will assemble machining fixtures and tooling, build and troubleshoot electrical panels and equipment, support robotic and PLC systems, and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, production throughput, and product quality.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 3-5 years of professional maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
• Solid electrical maintenance background
• Robotic and/or PLC programming or troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read and create blueprints
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and tooling
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work 3rd shift

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Associate's degree in a related technical field
• Experience assembling automatic and manually operated machining fixtures and tooling
• Experience building, installing, and debugging electrical panels and enclosures
• Experience with fabrication and machining systems
• Equipment rebuilding experience
• Experience troubleshooting robotic systems
• Experience developing or improving manufacturing processes and documentation
• Experience supporting quality systems for new products and processes
• Military technical background in electrical, electronics, mechanical maintenance, power generation, utilities, or similar technical specialties
