Maritime Systems EngineerSystem One is seeking a Maritime Systems Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Orlando, FL.ResponsibilitiesSupport maritime systems that replicate bridge systems of ships and boats, including communications, navigation, radar, and steering subsystemsResearch, analyze, plan, design, develop, code, implement, integrate, and test associated systems using engineering principlesReview and prepare engineering reports, technical analysis, design reviews, and documentationPerform simulation code development, systems integration, design, configuration management, quality assurance testing, and resource managementDevelop engineering procedures, controls, and participate in problem resolution within engineering projectsInterface with engineers, system and program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives on technical aspectsCommunicate ongoing activities and results to engineers, customers, stakeholders, and managementRequirements3+ years' experience developing code on Linux and Windows systems with proficiency in C/C++ or C#Proficiency in scripting environments such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with version control systems such as Git or SVNStrong technical understanding with at least one area of specializationAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customersAbility to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment to meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams/SharePoint)Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience with three years' related experience in aircraft, flight, or maritime simulation systemsMust be a United States Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense security clearanceSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
