Currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Warren, RI. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that treats their employees like family!
Responsibilities of Quality Inspector:
-Complete visual and dimensional inspections
-Perform first inspection, in process and final inspections
-Utilize gauges, calipers, and micro meters to complete tasks
-Accept or reject products based on inspection results
-recommend corrective actions to workers
-Notify supervisors of production problems
-Maintain all inspection documentation
Store and handle Controlled Unclassified Inormation
-Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements of Quality inspector:
-Minimum High School Diploma or GED
-At least 1 year quality inspection experience required
Mechanical engineering background
understanding of GD&T
-ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions
-Strong computer skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to read blueprints a plus
-Strong attention to detail
-possess problem solving and prioritizing skills
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00/hour based on experience
