Food Services Director

Job Description

The Food Service Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management of food service operations across all programs and sites. This role requires high-quality compliance with regulatory standards, operational efficiency, staff development, and exceptional service to the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all food service operations across all sites and programs
Develop menus, production plans, and budgets to meet operational, nutritional, and financial goals
Hire, train, and mentor leadership and staff
Monitor food quality, portion control, and production timelines
Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control
Build strong relationships with school administrators and clients
Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in food service management, nutrition, business, or related field preferred
5+ years of food service management experience, including supervisory experience
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of USDA and school nutrition regulations preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Manager ServSafe certified
