Job Description Sika is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business. Currently looking for all shifts. Differential pay (10% for 12 hour day shift and 20% for 12 hour night shift) The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for general facility maintenance on their shift and will report directly to the maintenance Manager. General office and manufacturing maintenance Lubrication / oil changing of heavy production machinery Repair / replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, etc. Modify existing structural components to comply with safety regulations, cost savings measures as required Perform all duties while maintaining high quality with every day thoughts for Environment, Health & Safety Other tasks as assigned by manager Qualifications High School Degree 5 + years of experience industrial mechanical experience in a production environment Prior forklift certification a plus Familiarity with environmental, health & safety regulations Must possess good mechanical aptitude and be able to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
