The Mount Holly Township School District is seeking an innovative, student-centered educational leader to serve as Principal of F.W. Holbein Middle School. This is an opportunity for a visionary leader to help shape the future of a district committed to academic growth, transformational leadership, and building meaningful relationships with students, staff, families, and the community.

Mount Holly is a PK 8 district serving approximately 1,100 students across three schools and is entering the implementation phase of an ambitious strategic plan focused on maximizing achievement, strengthening community partnerships, and creating systems that support the success of every child.

We are seeking a principal who is more than a manager; we are looking for a leader who will inspire staff, develop talent, cultivate culture, and drive instructional excellence.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Serve as a visible and relationship-driven leader who builds trust and a strong school culture.
• Lead instructional improvement through the strategic use of data, intervention systems, and evidence-based practices.
• Develop teachers and leaders through coaching, collaboration, and high expectations.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Partner with families and community stakeholders to strengthen school-home relationships.
• Lead with optimism, integrity, systems thinking, and a relentless focus on student success.

Qualifications:

• New Jersey Principal Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required
• Minimum five (5) years teaching experience preferred (elementary experience strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards and effective instructional practices
• Experience with school improvement initiatives, MTSS, data analysis, curriculum implementation, and staff development preferred
• Demonstrated leadership in creating a positive school climate and culture
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational leadership skills
• Understanding of federal and state educational regulations and requirements
• Criminal History Review required
