Construction Superintendent

Superintendent Location: Port St. Lucie, FL Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 We are working with a Jacksonville-based commercial general contractor to find a Superintendent for a project in Port St. Lucie. This is a recognized and growing firm that brings a distinctive approach to commercial work, combining a high standard of craftsmanship with strong commercial execution. The Superintendent will lead field operations on a commercial project in Port St. Lucie and will be the key point of accountability on the ground for schedule, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance. What You'll Do Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout Manage subcontractors, field crews, inspections, and material deliveries to keep the project on schedule Monitor work in place for quality and conformance with plans, specifications, and project requirements Maintain project schedules, look-ahead plans, and daily field reports Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance Communicate proactively with the Project Manager, owners, and design teams throughout the project Manage punch list and closeout activities to ensure a complete and professional project delivery Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times What You'll Bring 7 or more years of experience as a lead Superintendent on commercial construction projects A strong track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard of quality Experience managing multiple subcontractors and maintaining schedule momentum on active jobsites Strong knowledge of construction means and methods across multiple trades Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally with owners and design teams Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software OSHA 30 certification required Valid driver's license What You'll Gain A salary in the $110,000 to $120,000 range based on experience The opportunity to lead a commercial project for a recognized and growing Florida GC A firm that brings a high standard of quality and attention to detail to everything they build Competitive benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off Long-term opportunity within a company that is growing its commercial footprint across Florida #J-18808-Ljbffr International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO)
