An amazing career opportunity for a Sales Manager, ISC!! As our Sales Manager for the Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, you'll play a key role in expanding our RFID transponder business across North America, with a strong focus on consumable equipment markets and industrial verticals.

The Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, within IDT, is a global leader in producing standard and custom passive RFID tags and labels for industry & logistics, healthcare, animal identification and fueling automation markets, with manufacturing sites in Malaysia, China and the United States.

As our Sales Manager ISC, you'll support HID's success by:

  • Acquiring new customers and developing existing customer base in the above-mentioned region, to the consumable equipment market and other industrial verticals.
  • Recognizing and understanding the customer requirements during the pre-sales process and educate customers on HID product offerings that solve their business challenges.
  • Driving the entire sales process, from prospecting and initial contact, to consulting on product offerings that meet the customer's needs, to commitment of design-in solutions.
  • Collaborating with product management and engineering specialists as required.
  • Working with sales and marketing management to plan and implement marketing and sales campaigns for your defined customer base to drive brand recognition and grow the business.
  • Attending and participating in tradeshows, exhibitions, as well as partner events.
  • Hunting for new customers and growing revenue and nurturing relationships with existing customers.
  • Completing forecasts and revenue reporting by regularly scheduled deadlines.
  • Building a project pipeline to secure the ISC long-term business growth.
  • Acting as an industry expert in future market trends, and coordinating with product management on potential new products to meet these trends.

Your experience and background include:

  • Ideally, you have technical training or previous education, but in any case, you have a high affinity for technical products.
  • An understanding of RFID technologies with a focus on the RFID tags and labels would be helpful but not necessary.
  • Several years of sales experience and are confident speaking to all level of customers (Engineering, Procurement and C-Suite).
  • Passionate about sales topics and about selling components.
  • Cold calling and remote selling are no strangers to you and you deal confidently with resistance.
  • Strong experience in hunting, cold-calling, and closing new customers, including social media outreach.
  • Communicate in the English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Effective and timely follow-up to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
  • Develop presentations and write content as an industry subject matter expert.
  • Present information to boards of directors, technical managers and/or public groups.
  • Interact in a professional manner with the Sales team, Business Development Team, Product Marketing, and other departments within HID.
  • Read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with SalesForce (or other CRM platform) and Concur is a plus but is not required.

The base salary in the United States is $98,000 to $108,000. If a sales role include: The OTE is up to $180,000 (this figure will be the max potential OTE).
