Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyin accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, assist in troubleshooting any discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, contribute to the training of new employees or students, and help to maintain superior lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with a commitment to pursue ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain certification throughout your tenure with us.
