Role Description The Project Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation through completion. This role includes organizing project documentation, tracking timelines and deliverables, and coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth project workflows. The Project Specialist will assist with preparing status reports, updating project management tools, and identifying potential risks or delays to help maintain project quality and efficiency. Daily responsibilities also involve responding to stakeholder inquiries, supporting customer-facing activities, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to align project objectives with business goals. The role requires consistent on-site presence to participate in meetings, review project progress, and provide real-time support to project leads. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers, and to prepare clear project updates and documentation. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor project performance, and identify areas for improvement or potential issues. Candidates should possess Customer Service capabilities to manage client inquiries, support project-related requests, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to assist with scheduling, resource coordination, task tracking, and adherence to timelines and project requirements. Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support project proposals, coordinate follow-up activities, and help align project outcomes with business development objectives. Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana), strong organizational and time management abilities, and experience in a project coordination or operations support role.
