• Experience: 2+ years of high-acuity PCU or Med/Surg Telemetry experience preferred; oncology experience a plus

What You'll Do

• Provide patient-centered care to oncology and telemetry patients within a high-acuity PCU setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret dysrhythmias using GE telemetry systems
• Administer medications including IV therapies, blood products, and chemotherapy
• Manage invasive devices such as IV lines, central lines, ports, and chest tubes
• Respond to emergencies, facilitate rapid response, and participate in patient safety protocols
• Document care accurately and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

What You Need
Required:

• Ohio RN license in good standing
• BCLS, ACLS, NIH certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent high-acuity PCU or Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV start/management, and invasive device care
• Ability to float within comparable units as needed

Preferred (but not required):

• Oncology-specific nursing experience
• Chemotherapy administration and chemotherapeutic monitoring skills
• Advanced airway management skills (tracheostomy, ventilator management)
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and other high-level procedures
