Registered Nurse Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) Full-Time

Description: We are looking to hire a Full‑Time Registered Nurse for our Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise. The RN will provide hands‑on patient care, maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with colleagues, and serve as a patient advocate. Hours and Compensation Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., with self‑scheduling. The position qualifies for sign‑on bonus, relocation assistance, housing stipend (dependent on location), competitive wages, on‑call pay (depending on schedule), and special float pool shift differentials. This role offers training across a spectrum of acuity levels and advance career growth opportunities. Houston will not float to other Saint Alphonsus sites or to Boise Critical Care or Emergency Departments. Responsibilities Provide competent care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric as applicable). Ensure accurate documentation of services and supplies. Comply with hospital safety policies and procedures. Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments. Educate patients based on assessment of needs; develop, implement, and evaluate care plans. Communicate patient status and care plan to other caregivers verbally and in writing. Prepare, administer, and evaluate the effectiveness of medications. Operate patient care equipment safely. Maintain therapeutic and professional boundaries. Integrate knowledge, experience, professional standards, and hospital policies into nursing practice. Meet unit‑specific technical skills. Practice in accordance with the Idaho State Board of Nursing regulations.
