As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who thrives in a small-team setting and values both independence and collaboration. Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Aledo, TX. The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, conduct account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing payroll, and assisting with audits, and other duties as assigned. The role also involves providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

The Senior Accountant will oversee a broad range of critical accounting functions, ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organization. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, advanced technical skills, and the ability to navigate complex accounting environments. This position serves as a trusted financial partner to ownership and senior leadership. The ideal candidate has experience in government or public-sector accounting and is comfortable taking ownership of financial accuracy across multiple business areas and has the confidence and skillset to deliver financial reports.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger management
• Experience with account reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Skilled in using accounting software and tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience within the manufacturing or distribution industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public-sector or government-contracting environments
• Proven expertise in AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and audit facilitation
• Mastery of accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail, integrity, and discretion
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
