Kitchen Manager

Operational Management 

• Assist with completing daily, weekly, and monthly management administrative duties including operations reports, financial documentation, human resources/staff management paperwork, standard operating procedures, safety and sanitation compliance, and ordering, inventory, costing documentation
• Ensure that all food + products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
• Assist in overseeing inventory, purchasing, and food cost using set systems
• In collaboration with Ownership, contribute to innovative and consistent menu items; properly execute menu additions and plan for successful implementation
• Ensure compliance with health code standards
• Hold ServSafe Manager certification
• Collaborate with Ownership on special events and services
• Maintain open, transparent, and positive line of communication with Ownership to ensure alignment on priorities, challenges, and business performance
• Work to help foster a professional relationship with all vendors and resolve any issues that arise
• Take ownership of repair and maintenance needs and be able to communicate effectively
• Follow through to keep all restaurant equipment in working condition
• Assist with any additional special projects as needed

Leadership

• Act as leader and manager under Ownership, handling information and decisions with discretion and integrity 
• Maintain high level of trust in all matters pertaining to business operations
• Engage and inspire all staff
• Manage staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
• Contribute to interviewing and hiring new teammates
• Maintain complete knowledge of, comply with, and train, coach, manage, and discipline with all company policies, systems, and brand standards

Guest Engagement / Service

• Commit to passionate and uncompromising service and hospitality
• Consistently facilitate and execute food, beverage, service, and hospitality that aligns with Stir Crazy tenets and brand
• Identity friends and family and other persons of interest
• Responsibly and effectively represent Stir Crazy at industry events and other applicable internal and external settings
• Along with Ownership, lead preparation and execution of public and private events
