Floral and Event Project Assistant – (Los Angeles)

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000 per year (plus 4% 401K match)

We blend artistry with logistics — from fresh floral installations to curated plant maintenance and seasonal events and displays.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced floral professional with strong Customer Service skills and superior office management skills to assist with daily operations at our Los Angeles location.

Key Responsibilities

• ·         Monitor daily emails and incoming calls and address all floral orders, Event planning and client care. Response time in under 3 hours
  ·         Create detailed work Orders for all Floral and Event projects and coordinate deliveries
  ·         Maintain Workflow, Projects and Installation Schedule and Calendar in Google current always
  ·         Assist with estimates and invoicing as needed
  ·         Create Mood Boards and Style Sheets per Hotel requests and Clients
  ·         Maintain all floral supplies, ensure Hotel and 5521 are properly always supplied
  ·         Invoice daily orders
  ·         Receive, organize and prepare daily account workorder sheets for manger approval. 
  ·         Print all Account Workorder Sheets blanks and put into team bins
  ·         Order all materials, supplies and plants per daily workorder sheets following manager approval
  ·         File all completed daily sheets to client folders weekly 
  ·         Recurring Monthly Account Invoicing ·         Assist with Estimation and style sheets as needed
  ·         Ording products, supplies and components for holiday projects
  ·         Assist Floral General Manager and Holiday Team Leaders with team management and scheduling, Meal and shift coordination
  ·         Work with Office manger to ensure that all Insurance, COI and paperwork are in place for installation dates. 
  ·         Keep all safety supplies for installation team up to date and readily available 
  ·         Work with clients and Floral to schedule installation times AND strike times. 
  ·         Making Detailed work orders for all floral teams that include start, break, meal and end times. Ensure all break rules are followed precisely.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in floral design, retail, or event floristry.
• 2+ years experience Concierge level Customer Service experience.
• Strong Visual graphics presentation skills, Photoshop, Canva or similar.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Superior communication skills.
• Familiarity with event set-ups, floral coolers, and safe transport practices.
