You'll work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals who value teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement in patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your duties will include:Evaluating patients' physical conditions and developing tailored treatment plans based on their specific needs.Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function.Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to each patient's rehabilitation.Monitoring and documenting patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.Providing patient education regarding therapeutic exercises, the use of assistive devices, and injury prevention strategies.Engaging in hands-on therapeutic practices, including manual therapy techniques and modalities such as ultrasound and electric stimulation.Supervising and training support staff while managing a dynamic caseload, prioritizing tasks based on patient acuity and treatment goals.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries related to the hand, wrist, and upper extremities. Our patient population encompasses diverse backgrounds, including athletes, manual laborers, and individuals with chronic conditions. Your role will involve addressing a variety of conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and pain management, all within a compassionate framework aimed at enhancing recovery and quality of life.QualificationsMust possess a valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and engage them in their recovery process.Commitment to maintaining high standards of ethical practice and professional integrity.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not mandatory. We welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow within our organization.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and rehabilitation therapy software is a plus.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
