Phlebotomist - Night Shift

Location: Washington State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 5x8 Night Shift (03:00 - 11:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team for a night shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing venipunctures and other blood collection procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various blood collection techniques, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
• Ensure proper post-venipuncture site care.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Document and input patient data accurately into the electronic health records using EPIC.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in training and educational opportunities as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience is required.
• Current certifications: BLS and Washington State MAP required.
• Experience with pediatric and outpatient lab collections is preferred.
