Strategic National Accounts Director, FMS

Ryder System, Inc.

Director National Accounts FMS The Director of National Accounts FMS will manage and identify customer needs by developing strategic goals and objectives. The role is expected to meet an annual quota set by the Vice President of Sales or Group Director. The position capitalizes on Ryder Logistics' market sector knowledge and participates in diversification into strategic verticals. Summary Plan and implement a strategic/consultative sales process to maximize account penetration. Evaluate current and potential sales opportunities with existing customers, and implement customer reviews and margin improvement processes to ensure satisfaction and maximize Ryder's EVA. Develop relationships with senior management and all buying influences in the customers' organization and appropriately utilize headquarters and third‑party sales resources. Essential Functions Prepare strategic account plans using the target account selling process and understand competitive alternatives in the marketplace. Coordinate administrative activities that support selling, promoting teamwork. Provide training and improve sales skills, industry knowledge, and personal growth needs. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to Ryder’s policies and procedures, including Travel and Expense Policy. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of an organization. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to operate in a fast‑paced environment and self‑driven for success. Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills. Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Transportation or an equivalent field. 5+ years of consecutive sales excellence with proven quota achievement. 5+ years of selling B2B solutions and/or achieving quota attainment more than three times within a 60‑month period. Non‑Commercial Driver's License CLASS E. Travel: 40% – 60% anticipated Job Category: Outside Sales Compensation Information The compensation offered may be influenced by relevant experience, education, work location, market data, and internal equity. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan. Pay Type: Salaried Minimum Pay Range: 80,000 Maximum Pay Range: 90,000 Benefits Information Ryder offers comprehensive health and welfare benefits for all full‑time positions, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance. Paid time off is available for vacation, illness, bereavement, family, and parental leave. A tax‑advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan is also offered.
