Accounting Manager

Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting functions Support accurate monthly financial reporting Maintain strong accounting controls across multiple entities Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare and review accrual-based financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain accurate general ledger activity in NetSuite Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and expense coding Support revenue recognition, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other accrual accounting areas Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and department-level financial tracking Maintain and improve accounting processes, policies, documentation, and internal controls Coordinate with outside tax preparers, auditors, payroll providers, insurance brokers, and other external partners Support compliance-related reporting, tax filings, business registrations, and other finance/accounting requirements Help improve reporting dashboards and financial visibility using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Excel, or NetSuite reporting Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, improve accuracy, and increase reporting efficiency Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Requirements 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong experience with multi-entity accounting Strong understanding of accrual accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and GAAP-based financial reporting Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize competing tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work with both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders.
