Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing specialized treatment plans designed for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries.
• Deliver hands-on therapy by guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and utilizing manual techniques to enhance mobility and strength.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients about correct exercise techniques, recovery strategies, and activities to promote adherence to their rehabilitation program.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and contribute valuable insights into treatment efficacy.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records and documentation following healthcare regulations for patient privacy and care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to sports-related injuries. Your role will be instrumental in helping patients regain their mobility and strength, allowing them to return to their daily activities and improve their quality of life. Empathetic communication and understanding of each patient's unique recovery goals will be central to your approach.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) state license.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic setting is essential, demonstrating proficiency in patient care and familiarity with therapeutic practices.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, allowing for effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
