Platform Administrator with Security Clearance

The Lab Manager will support the sustainment of lab functions within the customer's Lab environments, including providing IT support to the user community. The position supports provisioning, issuing, and maintenance of IT equipment and access to lab environments, as well as troubleshooting assistance to the user community. Responsibilities Provide support to lab staff with provisioning and issuing equipment to end users, and maintain an inventory database. Provision and provide support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, VMWare, AWS) to users. Inventory IT assets (hardware and software, including licenses). Provide advice and assistance to users in accessing and using the lab and respond to users' needs in a timely fashion. Administration and maintenance of Apple products and operating systems. Required Skills U.S. Citizenship. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability. 2+ years of experience in lab management or systems administration. Experience with multiple operating systems, including Linux/Unix & MacOS. Experience with imaging workstations (Apple products preferred). Ability to provide clear written and oral communication at all levels of the organization. Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships in all levels of the organization, including customers, external organizations, internal management, and peers. Desired Skills Asset management practices and principles. Hardware and software provisioning practices. Authentication and access management technologies. Experience with virtual desktops (Cisco, Citrix, VMWare, AWS). Experience supporting Virtual Private Network (VPNs). Experience with writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures. Virtualization automation and optimization. Required Education Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline; or HS Diploma & 4-6 years of directly relevant experience.
