Staff Accountant | West Metro We're partnering with a growing organization seeking an accountant who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and collaborating with a supportive team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into reconciliations, figuring out why something doesn't look right, and working with a team that values accuracy, communication, and continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing: Prepare account reconciliations and financial statement support schedules Manage prepaid and accrued expense accounting Review and maintain general ledger activity Record intercompany transactions Monitor company credit card activity and expense reporting Assist with month-end close and financial reporting Who We're Looking For: Accounting degree or equivalent accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations Comfortable asking questions and identifying issues when something doesn't look right Communicative, collaborative, and solutions-oriented Interested in learning and growing within a larger accounting team What Makes This Different: Structured accounting environment with clear responsibilities Collaborative team with a mix of tenured and newer employees Opportunity to gain exposure to additional areas of accounting over time Hybrid flexibility available after training and onboarding Culture Snapshot: Friendly, approachable team Supportive leadership People help each other solve problems Mix of early-career professionals and long-tenured employees Team members are encouraged to speak up, ask questions, and improve processes Schedule: Monday-Friday Initial onsite training period Hybrid schedule available after onboarding (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Compensation & Benefits Minnesota Pay Transparency Disclosure: Anticipated salary range is $65,000-$75,000 annually, with final compensation based on qualifications and experience.
