About the Role
The Company is in search of a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to lead its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a transformative leader with a strong focus on financial management, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include fostering a culture of servant leadership, promoting member satisfaction, and overseeing the execution of a significant capital project. The GM/COO will be the face of the club, maintaining high visibility and engagement with members, and will be expected to lead by example in all aspects of the role. Applicants for the GM/COO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of progressive leadership experience in a private member-focused club environment or a related field. A degree in hospitality management or business is highly desirable, and a Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in team development, financial performance, and a deep understanding of food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented approach, capable of leading change and modernizing operations while preserving the club's heritage. Strong communication skills, the ability to build collaborative relationships, and a commitment to the club's mission of fostering friendship and memory-making experiences are essential.
