As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet COLA, DPSS, and/or DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccination requirements.
• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Possess an ACLS certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
