HVAC Counter Sales

Join Plumbers Supply Co, a century-old family-owned business, as an HVAC Inside Sales Associate in our Clarksville, IN location. This position also requires one day per week at our HVAC counter at Bishop Lane in Louisville, KY. Your ideal job is: Assisting customers with HVAC product selection and providing detailed product knowledge. You enjoy: Engaging with customers both in person and over the phone to solve their HVAC needs. You should stop reading if: You have no experience at all in HVAC wholesale. WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING: Provide excellent service to ensure that each customer receives outstanding support Create quotes, process orders and returns, and ensure customer satisfaction Accurately handle customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns Generate new and repeat sales by providing detailed product and technical information Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or customer specifications Keep customers informed about in-stock and non-stock item availability Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery and expedite orders as necessary Maintain accurate and complete customer and transaction information in the ERP system Always present a professional image to customers and vendors OUR MUST HAVES: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Broad knowledge of HVAC equipment and parts Highly motivated and competitive, with a drive to excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced, self-directed environment Ability to stand for up to 8 hours daily Previous computer experience is beneficial BENEFITS: Plumbers Supply Co offers a competitive salary & benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 10 paid holidays, paid time off, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a robust wellness program, 401K with company match, and financial planning services through our partnership with Cerity Partners.
