A Pasta Bar is an established Italian restaurant in the heart of SoHo, New York City. After nearly a decade in the neighborhood, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Floor Manager to join our management team and help lead our front-of-house operation.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, naturally present on the floor, comfortable leading a team, and able to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Strong understanding of elevated hospitality and restaurant operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Calm, organized, and solution-oriented during busy services.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest and operational needs.
- Comfortable giving direction and holding the team accountable while maintaining a positive working environment.
- Wine and beverage knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with reservation and POS systems is preferred.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
