Experienced Finance Controller (m/f)

Our client, a Luxembourg based Insurance company, with branches in several countries, is currently looking for a: Experienced Finance Controller (m/f) Responsibilities Analyse various general ledger accounts through general journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals and closings (monthly, quarterly and annually) Perform in-depth analysis of financial reports and performance reports and provide the CFO with adequate monthly and quarterly variance explanations and results Actively participate to the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports (incl. Regulator reporting, Statec reporting, ...) Prepare annual forecast and budget process Support the financial and investments integration of newly acquired portfolios Assist in the oversight of accounting services outsourced (including timely and accurate completion of projects and accounting transactions, control procedures in place, completeness of financial records, etc) Assist the CFO in the preparation of Board of Directors' pack Support process improvement initiatives Assist with audit preparation and facilitation Maintain quality, integrity and consistency in all financial activities Profile Degree educated in Finance or Accounting At least 4 years of relevant professional working experience in a similar role External audit or Finance/Accounting reporting Insurance or Financial service experience preferred Fluency in English - a good level in French is also expected Knowledge of MS Dynamics will be a clear asset Team-player and ability to work independently Ethical and sense of privacy are impeccable Meticulous and details-oriented Well organized #J-18808-Ljbffr Calculatrice
