IT Support Specialist

Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end users across U.S. operations. This role will serve as a key point of contact for hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 support while collaborating closely with global IT and cybersecurity teams. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, delivering exceptional customer service, and taking ownership of IT challenges from resolution through completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users across the organization

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals

• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues

• Support enterprise email systems and user account management

• Assist with network troubleshooting, including VPN connectivity, wireless networks, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP

• Provide basic support for firewalls, switches, routers, and network infrastructure

• Manage IT asset inventory, including device deployment, tracking, registration, and retirement

• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, security policies, and compliance efforts

• Collaborate with global IT and Information Security teams to maintain standardized support processes

• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues

• Document support activities, procedures, and technical solutions

• Deliver basic end-user training and guidance on technology tools and security best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 2+ years of hands-on IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience

• Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

• Knowledge of enterprise email systems and user account administration

• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless networking

• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting computer hardware and peripherals

• Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset

• Experience working with ticketing systems and IT documentation preferred

• Exposure to cybersecurity concepts, endpoint security, and IT compliance initiatives preferred
