Key Responsibilities

As our LCSW, your day-to-day will encompass a variety of essential tasks that contribute to our patients’ overall well-being:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand client needs, developing personalized treatment plans guided by evidence-based interventions.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting these techniques to best suit the individual needs of each client.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss progress and refine treatment strategies, emphasizing a culture of continuous quality improvement.
• Provide education and resources to patients and families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community support services.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health care to enhance your practice and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will work primarily with a diverse group of patients, including adults experiencing chronic illness, end-of-life issues, and other significant mental health challenges. Your compassionate approach will be pivotal in providing emotional support as clients navigate complex feelings surrounding their health and experiences. You will work to foster a safe space where clients and their families feel valued, heard, and empowered.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience providing direct clinical services in a mental health or related field.
• Competence in conducting thorough diagnostic assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• A commitment to cultural competence, ethical practice, and social justice in all aspects of work.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hospice care or working with populations facing terminal illness.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $78,000 to $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
