TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in West Burlington, Iowa, 52655!

Job Title: RN Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification Required Must-Have: EPIC EMR Experience Required Description: Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on the telemetry/med surg unit. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to patient populations that include geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry. Positions available on medical surgical unit and telemetry unit. Estimated work week is 36 hours. Candidate may be required to float to other campuses at times. While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Med/surg ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. ACLS certification is required. Floating is a requirement in the unit and may include the emergency department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, occasional floating to critical care units may occur. ACU rotation required every other weekend.
