Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview This role is expected to multi-task between several projects, working closely with a Project Engineer to determine daily tasks and priorities which support engineering and product deliverables. Essential Functions Create Engineering Change Requests to document required changes against existing products Product design using Inventor Revise engineering drawings as required to maintain legacy product data Support configuration changes based on new sales to customers Support builds on the production floor Conceptual design of new products and ideas to improve existing product Create drawing packages Tracking and reporting project progress to management Mark up drawings and create redlines for engineering incorporation Interpret and apply geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) Qualifications Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required Excellent communication both written and verbal Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficient with 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting using Inventor Ability to perform engineering calculations to substantiate a design Familiarity with material specifications and standard hardware specifications Education, Certifications and Experience BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering 0-3 years’ experience in engineering or related industry, aerospace preferred Company Benefits Medical, dental, vision insurance with generous portion of premium paid by Enflite 401(k) with company match Life insurance, disability insurance Paid time off Paid company holidays Annual discretionary bonus eligibility Fun activities each month (past events have included cookouts, baking competitions, cornhole tournaments, water balloon fights) This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
