Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.## ## ## **Group Summary:**The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.**Job Responsibilities:**# Skills and Experience Required:* Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence behavior through positive dialogue and have strong quantitative and analytical skills.* Ability to coordinate high work volume and pressing time requirements.* Ten (10) or more years prior experience in an automotive manufacturing environment directly related to engineering activities.* Minimum of five years supervisory experience.* Ability to travel within and outside of the U.S. is required.* Knowledge of PPAP / Submission process systems or equivalent is required.* Knowledge of GD&T methods is required.* Knowledge of IATF16949 auditing experience is required.* Exposure to international standards/engineering specifications would be an asset.* Proven leadership capabilities are required.* Knowledge of SPC, MSA, GR&R is an asset.* Experience in computer skills such as Microsoft Word or Excel* Fluent in English, German (preferably) or Japanese (reading and writing).# Education:* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required. (10+ years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)# Physical Requirements:### ·This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while sitting for up to eight (8) hours on a continuous basis.### ·This position requires a person to have the ability to stand, walk or climb stairs a minimum of eight (8) hours on a continuous basis.### ·This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and 50 pounds on an infrequent basis.### ·Good vision at a close distance as well as color acuity is required.### ·Must be capable of performing a full range of repetitive motion for up to eight (8) hours a day.# Training Requirements:* You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations.
