Your Role and Responsibilities

• Provide thorough patient evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and create personalized care strategies
• Dive into diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, either independently or in partnership with physicians as per your credentialing
• Educate patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management approaches
• Prescribe medications and therapies within your professional scope
• Engage in patient follow-ups and long-term care management

• Ensure meticulous documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C from AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
