Position Overview Full‑time position located at Scripps Mercy Campus in Hillcrest. Requires availability for day shifts, including 6:00 am‑2:30 pm and 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, as well as a varied schedule that includes weekends. Responsibilities The housekeeping team performs job functions to support environmental care: patient area cleaning, non‑patient area cleaning, linen service, waste removal, sharps container removal, meeting/event set‑up and breakdown, and infection control/sanitation using technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. Follows established policies and practices to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization. Qualifications Ability to speak, read, and write English. 6 months housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality.
